Starting in February 2022, the Census Team has planned seven major releases of 2021 Census of Population data products, analytical products, reference material and geography products, which, in most cases, correspond to high-level themes/topics. Following the completion of the seven major census releases in 2022, there will be further releases which will highlight additional themes and key findings in the data, and will offer more data tables, updates to data products, and analysis for selected data. The planned releases for 2022 and 2023 are itemized below by year.

There will be seven major 'themed' release dates for the dissemination of data from the 2021 Census of Population. Each major release of data by theme will be highlighted in The Daily, Statistics Canada's official release bulletin, and each major release will offer data, analytical, and reference products for our users to access and consume.
