APA Quick Citation Guide

Below are some examples for citing reports available from business-focused databases. For more examples of citing information from databases with proprietary content, see the Database Information in References section of the APA Style and Grammar Guidelines web page.

Include the database name if the content is available only through that database. If the content will be updated over time, include a retrieval date.

Note: Citations with more than one line of text should have a hanging indent of 1/2 inch or 5 spaces.

IBISWorld:

Include a report number, if given, in parentheses after the title. Because the reports are updated over time, include a retrieval date.
